For many years, I dedicated myself fully to my family and home. But deep inside, I always carried the desire to learn something new and meaningful. That inner calling eventually led me to the world of baking.

My name is Maria Torres, founder of this homegrown baking journey. I was born and raised in San Luis Potosí, Mexico, and have called the City of Roses — Tyler, Texas — home for nearly 20 years. Here, I’ve built a beautiful life with my husband and our four wonderful children.
Although I still have much to explore in this craft, I’m proud of how far I’ve come and excited about what lies ahead. I believe there’s no age or limit to follow your dreams.

Baking has become a shared joy in our home. There’s something incredibly special about creating desserts from scratch, using simple ingredients and a lot of love — and seeing the delight they bring to others.
